What to use now

CSV import is the recommended path today. It gives you control over the data you import and works with most banks that provide exports.

What bank sync will help with

Direct sync should reduce repeated CSV exports and make it easier to keep transactions current.

Until then

Save import templates for each bank format you use often. This keeps repeated CSV imports much faster.
