Add and edit transactions
Transactions explain what changed in an account. They can be income, expenses, or transfers.
Create a transaction
Choose the account, date, amount, type, category, and description. Notes and tags are optional, but they make later searches and reports easier.
Edit transaction details
Use edits when a transaction needs a better category, corrected date, additional note, or verification. Verified transactions are useful when you have reviewed imported activity.
Split a transaction
If one purchase belongs to multiple categories, split it into category amounts. The total should still match the original transaction amount.
