Import transactions from CSV

CSV import is the best option when direct bank sync is not available or when you want full control over what enters your ledger.

Use saved templates

Import templates remember how a bank export maps to Moni Budget fields. Save one after mapping a file, then reuse it the next time the same bank format appears.

Check date and amount formats

Banks differ in date order and amount signs. Review the preview carefully so expenses and income land with the expected values.

After import

Run your category rules and review transactions that still need categories. This keeps reports and budgets accurate.
