Create your first account

Accounts represent the places where money is held or owed: checking accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, investments, loans, cash, crypto, and other balances.

Add an account

Open Accounts, choose the account type, set the currency, and enter the current starting balance. The starting balance is the baseline Moni Budget uses before transactions are added.

Pick the right type

Use a checking or savings account for everyday money, a credit card for card balances, and a loan account for debt you want to track over time.

Keep old accounts available

Archive accounts you no longer use instead of deleting them. Archiving keeps history available while removing the account from your active planning view.
